NEW FOR 2026
WELLBEING IN ACTION:
Employee Recognition
At Serco, wellbeing isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we live.

Wellbeing in Action recognizes employees who demonstrate positive wellbeing behaviors and inspire others through their everyday actions. From supporting teammates and prioritizing self-care to leading wellness initiatives or giving back to the community, these moments matter.
HOW IT WORKS
Every action matters. Every person inspires. Together, we create Wellbeing in Action.
WHAT IS WELLBEING IN ACTION?
Celebrating Employees Who Lead by Example
Wellbeing in Action brings together the best of Wellbeing Warrior and Caught in Action to create a new recognition initiative for employees. Wellbeing in Action highlights individuals who actively support their own wellbeing or the wellbeing of others across physical, mental, emotional, social, or financial health. These are the moments where small actions make a meaningful impact.

What Counts as Wellbeing in Action?

MEET THE FIRST QUARTER WINNERS
We’re proud to recognize our Wellbeing in Action First Quarter winners for demonstrating how everyday actions can make a meaningful difference.

ALFONSO RODRIGUEZ
With support from Serco’s Tuition Reimbursement and Higher Education programs, he persevered through personal challenges and graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, earning a 3.9 GPA and induction into the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society

DOUG GALICA
Doug was nominated by Justin Minges for his positive impact on others. When a winter storm hit Virginia, Doug supported his community by helping neighbors—especially elderly residents—clear driveways and reach critical medical appointments. He continues to lead by example through his commitment to physical wellbeing and by inspiring others through his YouTube channel.

BETH MCNEAL
Beth McNeal is inspiring others across Serco by openly sharing her wellbeing journey on Viva Engage. After previously losing 70 pounds and later regaining some of the weight, Beth chose determination over discouragement. By sharing her decision to restart her health journey. Her message to keep trying and never give up is motivating others throughout the Serco community to take that first step again.

JUDITH OBIOFUMA
Judith Obiofuma is also encouraging others by sharing her wellbeing journey and lessons learned. Through her Viva Engage post, Judith reflected on how the Go for Gold Challenge inspired her to strengthen her routine—not only maintaining her consistent workouts but also focusing on improved nutrition, tracking meals, and taking intentional breaks to recharge during busy days.
MEET THE SECOND QUARTER WINNERS
We’re proud to recognize our Wellbeing in Action First Quarter winners for demonstrating how everyday actions can make a meaningful difference.

Her proactive attitude helps foster a more connected and collaborative work environment.

JOY KANUK
Joy has embraced a regular Tai Chi practice as part of her wellbeing journey. By taking a few mindful minutes each day, she has built a simple routine that supports both physical and mental health. This consistent practice helps her manage stress, improve focus, and stay grounded, showing how small habits can lead to lasting wellbeing benefits.

HERNAN ARCINGIEGA
Hernan has achieved impressive milestones in his running journey, completing the Tacoma City Marathon, Bremerton Marathon, and Dirty Turtle Ultra Marathon in Washington, and is now training for his next 10K race. His consistent early morning and evening training reflects resilience and focus, and he continues to inspire colleagues by showing how ambitious personal goals can strengthen both wellbeing and performance.

SANDRA PUCKETT
Sandra was nominated by Angela Mitchell for the care and support she provides to her KY QA team. She consistently steps in to support colleagues during personal loss, illness, or difficult times by coordinating thoughtful gestures such as cards, flowers, keepsakes, and self-care gifts. Her kindness helps ensure team members feel valued and supported, fostering a strong culture of connection and care within the team.
